About me
Hi, nice to meet you I am Alisabeth
At the heart of everything I do is my love for Jesus and my desire to help others grow closer to Him. Whether it’s through a devotional, a story for children, or a tip for homemaking, my hope is to point you back to His unfailing love and grace.
Welcome
This space is a reflection of my heart—a place where faith and family come together to inspire and encourage women like you.
My love for family and faith has been nurtured by the Holy Spirit in the simple, everyday moments—gathering around the table, sharing stories, and finding strength in Jesus. As a wife, mom, and homemaker, I’ve come to see that these small, faithful steps can lead to a life of great purpose.
My Cottage is my way of sharing what I’ve learned along the way—helping women build Christ-centered homes, nurture their families, and find beauty and purpose in every season of life.
I’d love to connect with you and hear your story! Feel free to explore the rooms here, sign up for my newsletter, or send me a message. Let’s flourish in faith and purpose together!

Fun Facts About Me
Here’s a little glimpse into my life and the things I love!
I’m a Storyteller at Heart
I’ve always loved weaving words into stories—especially ones that inspire children and point them to God’s love.
I’m All About Cozy Spaces
Give me a snowy day, a hot cup of tea, a crackling fire, and I’m in my happy place!
Nature Is My Muse
A walk in the woods or a glimpse of wildflowers always reminds me of God’s beauty and creativity.
Motherhood Has Taught Me So Much
I became a mom at 16 and it’s been the most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding journey of my life.
I’m a Homeschool Veteran
I’ve been homeschooling for 17+ years and love helping other moms overcome their fears.
Family Time Is Everything
My greatest joy is spending time with my family, whether it’s playing games, cooking together, or exploring nature.
Older women similarly are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor addicted to much wine, teaching what is right and good, so that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their husbands and their children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.

Before Grace
Looking back, I can see God’s hand protecting me even in the midst of chaos. Growing up in a challenging and unstable environment taught me resilience, though I didn’t yet recognize the deeper purpose He had for my life. At 16, my world changed when I intentionally became a mom—an overwhelming and beautiful responsibility that would ultimately prepare me for God’s transformative work in the years ahead.

Through the Wilderness
My late teens and early twenties were marked by painful experiences—years of searching for meaning and peace in all the wrong places. Yet even in my wandering, God was quietly working behind the scenes, planting seeds of His grace and love. Though I couldn’t see it then, He was drawing me closer to Him, preparing me for a season of healing and redemption.
The Turning Point
At 23, I hit rock bottom and entered rehab—a turning point where I truly encountered God’s love for the first time. It was in that season that I began to understand what it meant to surrender my life to Him. The chaos and brokenness I had carried for so long were slowly replaced by His peace, grace, and the promise of a new beginning.

A Foundation of Faith
As I began to walk with Jesus, He transformed every part of my life—my family, my home, and my heart. These years were about learning to trust Him fully, growing in His Word, and leaning on His promises. It was also during this time that I embraced homeschooling and began nurturing my children in a Christ-centered environment.
Discovering My Purpose
In my 30s, God revealed a new purpose for my life: using my experiences to encourage other women. I began writing stories and devotionals, weaving faith into every word. In 2019, Wildflower & Quill was born, a space where I could share my journey and create resources to help others grow in faith and purpose.

Walking in Grace
Today, Wildflower & Quill is a reflection of God’s redemptive work in my life. It’s a place where women can find hope, encouragement, and practical tools to thrive in their faith and homes. My prayer is that every resource, story, and message points back to His unfailing love and inspires others to trust in His perfect plan.
