The Dogwood’s have gone to sleep,

With the Oaks close behind.

The Azaleas will retain their green,

As the Poplars do not mind.

Jasmine blooms are finished now,

While the Rose blossoms have slowed.

One by one the forest trees prepare for an early Winter’s snow.
