Shadows dance within the forest trees,
As Autumn comes to remove their leaves.
Pine trees sway in the highest breeze,
Cones begin falling at my feet.
The air’s turned chilly this early morn,
Summer’s passed, it’s welcome worn.
This new season is my heart’s desire,
With tea in hand, I’ll be found beside an Autumn fire.
